Funny you say cars should be mean looking on this forum. EVERY woman I know who has seen my new P5 says the same thing: "its cute". Perhaps the yellow doesn't help it....

As for the new 3, I really don't like it but it seems to be something that will grow on you. Its a direct decendent from the Furion (spelling?) and their new "flowing" design philosophy. If one was given to me I wouldn't get rid of it and I would probably buy one over the new 6.

if they got rid of that shiny plastic piece in the grill that really accentuates the grin or actually makes it grin, i would like it alot more actually. i'm sure someone will or already has made a delete for this that im sure does wonders.

Looks like gaping mouth toothless smiling ass clown. Not diggin the back or the rest of the body lines either.

I must say I rather think it looks like a fish with hairlip, but yes I will say it grows on you. First time I saw it I thought it was just rediculous. As of late, while I would not say I like it, It would not keep me from getting one... Just if there is an update, that facade is getting swaped out.

Hahahahaa! One time my cousin told me he heard this little girl passing by my car and admiring it. But he told me she only liked it because it was "cute" and "yellow". That's not the kind of response I want. Sigh...(2thumbs)

not a fan of the front bumper the rest of the car is sweet i like it a lot if it wasnt for that grill making it look like a big smile it would be sweet i love the lights and the shape of the car id buy it and just change that grill

I personally think it looks like a huge happy face that's gonna eat you. The big grill looks like an open mouth, the emblem the nose, and the round centre of the headlights look like the eyeballs. I can't say I like it....

i thought i read in a mazda promotional magazine that the bar in the middle of the grille/smile is actually the bumper support exposed.

I've thought about this for awhile now. Initially, I thought, well maybe the new look will grow on me. But my new insight is, well, if it's great otherwise then I'd be buying the first front end bra I've ever gotten. I've never seen one with a bra yet - might just work? Else get your paint in black.

Nope, I think the best way to improve upon that design is to front end it into a concrete wall at high speed.

i still stand by my last post about the scoop on the ms3 helping out. but i agree about the black. it would help reduce the "boldness" of the grille but still pull everything together.

....i wonder what it would look like if they went tacky and colored the badges gold like the "honda freaks" do lol! Not gonna lie, if i had a black protege i would color the mazda badges red like the 5 on the protege5 badge.(2thumbs)
