anyone ideas on sum cosmetics? not lookin to spend a whole ton of money tho i was jus thinkin blue lights and yellow fogs with smoked tail lights and side markers? anyone else have a suggestions..the car is that brightish/dark blue btw

Depends on what you mean by a whole ton of money. You can get some wheels off ebay for like 450.00 shipped. Good wheels to... thats where I got mine and havent had any problems. Plus rims can completely change the look of the car. Id say if you were gonna with lights... get some catz yellow fogs (I think thats what they are called) and then like 10k HIDS for the heads.

rims are coming next i jus wanted to get sum lights and stuff cause my stock rims are actually pretty nice...btw does anyone know if that spray on black out stuff works good for ur lights? or am i better off buying tint

spray on works well... for side markers, tails.... not so much (IMO)

I put chrome dipped white lights for the front corners, when not on and in the sun, they fill that light bay with a blue hint. Than in the highs I did a yellow bulb. Again it fills that light bay with yellow. Looks a lilt different with the lights off. Also for the fogs, I did yellow bulbs but have the smoke overlays. The light ends up being a goldish color instead of standard yellow. Of course with the smoke overlay the fogs become pretty useless.

i kept my headlights stock seeming how the 4500k is the best lighting of any headlight. as far as your fogs go buy some rockblocker overlays in a yellow. changes the color of the light and look fo the lense for a mere 20 bucks. plus the collor yellow, or HID 300k, is the best color to break through the fog. if you want you could also buy some overlays for the headlights that are around 50 i believe. you can get an array of colors that range from purple to blue to yellow. make sure your purchase is that of some good overlays. you dont want overlays that will just peal off in a few months.

I would suggest you not smoke your taillights...but that's just a personal preference.

true, spend the money in the right place. I have seen some cheap overlays and they were exactly that, cheap. Spend the money and get the right stuff.

I also forgot to add for the HIDS (I have the sport so no HIDs standard) I went with 55w 5000k but aftermarkets run lower than they state so they look more like 4300k as far as color goes.

i am copying my posts from another thread. I have nearly every bulb replaced in this damn car. I suggest LED's for the inside, yellow for the fogs, and a nice color of HID for the headlights. 6000K is very bright and looks great (like the pics 2 posts up) tho i got 8000K which are bluer but not as bright:

here are some of mine when replaced to coolwhite leds from superbrightleds.com:

I put luminics yellow in the fogs, headlights are 8000K hid, high beams are also 8000K hid, front signals are silverstar, rear signals are led, reverse lights are led:
I like 8000K for the bluish white look, tho i personally think 6000K are the nicest looking because they are bright as hell and very white with a slightly purple hid look at an angle. We have 6000K on my wife's jetta and its brighter than my 8000K by far and looks cleaner

silver star turn signals give a nice blue/purple reflection when off but light up orange/amber when turned on:

clear led rear turn signals, make the bowl clear when off (instead of reflecting all orange when the stock amber bulb is in) yet they light up amber when turned on to signal:

also replaced the rear and rearside reflectors for smoked ones that light up led red when turned on:

the silverstars look pretty cool, it reflects the bowl/lense an orange/blue/purple color when the bulb is in there and then lights up orange when lit. I did that for looks and then the orange light up so that it wouldnt get me a ticket. Ive goot too many fix-it tickets over the years.

The plate lights are really easy. Reach under, pull out plastic piece with light in it, change bulb, reverse previous steps.

most of my pics are copied from the how-to. I followed it back in May when i did them all. The license plate lights are easy, flathead screwdriver pops out the light holders.

all the bulbs are from superbrightleds.com and are "coolwhite" according to how they color term it. Other people have thrown blue or red interior lights in, but the white looks BITCHIN at night! Looks very luxerious when opening the door at night and lights up great. Oh yeah and the dimming feature still works as well, it doesnt cut out at all.
