well it was a goofy scenario..my car was a lease..and i had that plate on it for the length of the lease..when i bought the car out, i had to have mazda release that plate, which took about 30 days, which was about 15 days after my temp tags expired, so i would have been driving around with expired plates for half a month, which, at least around here, i would have surely been ticketed for. so i just went ahead and got regular plates, and when those expire i will probably re-register my old ones
