So someone stole my license plate and the associated screws... I replaced the screws with m6x18mm screws. Seem to fit pretty well. Just posting this as a future reference type deal in case someone else comes looking for the screw size for the CX-5. Wasn't that easy to find the information online and sorta had to guess and check with a bunch of screws from the local hardware store.
