Wow, you had good numbers too! I plan on going with a MS next year. I'm planning on having my own place with my own garage in late 2012. Then it will be a complete tear down of the P6 and pull the motor for ZE cams and pistons (or maybe some Colt cams, I still have a lot of research to do when it's time for that) and MS install. The messy wiring kinda bugs me right now. But by then the P6 will be mostly just a fun/track car. More gutting and a more suspension bits. I need to work on my drivers mod the most though.

I was also on a fresh rebuild tho..lost that motor with 12k on it. Spun a bearing..ran really strong though, especially once I put some Mike Seli cams in it, with the G4 IM..I guessed it was in the neighborhood of 200whp, but never dyno'd it before it went south.

Sorry...yeah, he's a local guy with 3 p5's, and a few other mazdas. In his defense, if I could get them as cheap as he does, I would have at least two :P

Ohhh, gotcha. I just like owning something I know really well. I came from 3 Hondas so I knew the D-series really well and was reluctant to buy a Mazda because I would have to start from scratch and sound like a newb on the forums. But now I've got two KLDE powered cars that I know how to do the basic things to so it's all gravy. I'm sure you can relate, JK. Having a gazillion PGT's. Heh-heh.

And speaking on KL, I've been having a weird idle issue lately. About 3 days ago my motor started leaning out to 18 at idle and got progressively more lumpy. I turned up the idle screw but it's really sensitive. It will idle at 1.5k rpm and athe AFR's are around 15.7. But that's still too lean. I reset the ECU hoping that would cure it but it didn't change. It's stalled out 2-3 times in the past couple days at red lights. I heard the IAC valve needs to be cleaned so I need to get on my research about that. The P6 just has to last one more month until I have the monies for the other KL into the Milly then she'll go into hibernation for the winter and I can work on her at my leisure. It will be soooo nice to have a reliable DD. I should've done this years ago.

Haha..I know the feeling.

And having a DD makes life so much easier..I mean, if I didn't have the Maxipad, I would have been biking to work every day except one, for the last year, lol.

Clean the IAC, you can also look into adjusting the TPS. Also make sure you have not had a vacuum line crack or come off. The KL is a absolute vacuum *****.

Dude, how about redoing your Gram Lights to the color that they should have been from the factory?
