Hey, Does anyone have an automatic (yes i have an auto, haha) and when it shifts into 2nd gear it jerks into it? It only happens for me if start going slow, if Im giving it a good even amount of gas it wont jerk. so like 50% of the time. I worried its something with my transmission but god i hope not. Its been happening sense i have had the car so Ive just thought it was normal but then i got to thinking.

my '08 is about to hit 40k miles and have never had a prob with my auto trans. In fact, everything is very smooth and powerful. It's also gone over 10k miles since it's last oil change. I might wait till it hits 15k miles before I change it. Yes. I use 3 qts of Mobil 1 synthetic and 11 oz of BG MOA. I also use Citgo PLUS fuel. Mine does not like Shell or Exxon fuel.

64500 miles and i need a dogbone motor mount lol, ps the teins are sweet! low as hell and they didnt even settle yet, pics up once i wash the car
time to flush the fluid...hard shifts are common with the auto's....usually a simple flush will get you back to smooth shifting...im probably going to do mine soon...just rolled this over the weekend

and if your getting a trz dogbone mount, get the lower duro inserts (street), i got 90duro (race) and its so stiff i rattle ALOT of things haha

okay so definately go with a TRZ or should i go with something different. also was thinkin about a speed 3 wing. I was just going to go black with it cuz i found out painting it with the orange is alot because it has metallic flakes. Will the speed3 wing fit on the 05 hatch n/a?

I have the street duro dogbone mount and it is definitely awesome. It causes a lot of vibration and rattle until it breaks in a bit. Then it settles to just vibration while accelerating from a stop or during startup.

Phil, if your not planning on autox you can go with the AWR. Adding metal to the mounts bumps your class, which I'm sure you can get away with, but why try? The dog bone doesn't add metal. You can try those Corksport inserts too. I heard they do the job with mild vibes. I love my dog bone and don't mind the vibes/noises that much.
The dog bone is a cheaper mount but it is quality. And yes, the speed 3 wing will fit. You can find replicas online too for cheaper.
your going to have a couple rattles here and there but its a trade off of knowing your engine will be firmly planted giving you a lil more useable power when you hit the go fast pedal
i think the only time you'd really feel any vibes/rattles (after its broken in) would be at idle and with the ac on but dont hold me to that, i mean even my 90 isnt enough to make me hate it, i still love how planted the motor is now and i got so used to the vibes i dont really notice them much anymore unless i dont have my stereo on then i hear them all hahaha

and to chef- totally man, everything settles down for me now so i have more time on the weekends. i know a guy that takes amazing pics of cars and scenery, and for free too, hes got over 5500 in camera supplies. ill have to give him a call
