You don't want to hear what people have to say. Like most people who inexplicably engage in political or religious debate, on this forum and elsewhere, you throw out your opinion, and ignore any incoming ideas, repeating your retoric over and over again until people get tired of listening, and leave the discussion. I can only assume you see this as a victory and get some satisfaction out of it, or you wouldn't keep starting these threads. This thread, by the very nature of the title of it, is just fishing for another goddamned political bulls*** flame war.
Dimitrios questioned the validity of our position as a superpower, and rather than offering some proof, or some suggestion of why we are in fact "the good guys", you call him "typical" for criticizing this country, and clearly mean it to demean and belittle him. Criticizing this country is how we begin to change things. If you get right down to it, our right to complain is the very essence of democracy! But that's not good enough for you. People aren't hating America if they have an issue with how thier elected officials are representing them, they're trying to participate in America, and the very philosophies that made this country (however flawed) great.
Now you'll just probably call me an asshole for calling the country flawed and ignore the rest of my post, but I had to say my part.
