Less than $2 a gallon for gas in Vernon

Sort of. My wife and I went grocery shopping at Stop & Shop in Vernon and they sell gas. If you use your stop& shop card, it's $2.19. So we went shopping and got food, and they gave us a coupon for $.20 per gallon off at my next fill up. SCORE!

the station i buy at has been about 2.13 for reg and i get 5% off from my company so it puts the price around 2.02/gallon of 87.

soooooo close to under 2.00..........

It had gotten down to about 1.95/96 per gallon here in the atl, now its back up to about 2.02 or so

It just shows you how much we're getting screwed- if a grocery store can drop under $2 and still make profit, then why can't the oil companies? Oh I forgot, they're taking our money and getting tax breaks from bush. fuckers.

my g/f up in wrentham, and myself, have been getting gas for close to under $2.000/gal right now the lowest either of us has seen recently is $2.079/gal for regular, and i heard on the news *knock on wood* that its still supposed to go down some. Pretty sweet if you ask me. I remember much earlier this year, like march i believe, it was $1.999/gal for almost a month....the day i need gas...it went up $0.30. haha. WHat I saw, and kinda get annoyed by now is the price difference between regular, super, and premium. every place i used to go to, it was about a $0.10 - $0.15 difference between each grade...now where I usually go out here in PA, its $2.079 for regular, $2.299 for super and $2.479 for premium!
oh well, I'll just be thankful its as low as it is right now....

there was an old guy in CT who ran a small 1 pump full service (i think) gas station and he stopped selling gas like a year ago and the news was there asking him about it and he was just like

"its just not worth it. I cannot in good conscience take advantage of people like that. The product I am selling, is simply not worth the amount of money I am being forced to charge for it so im just not going to sell it anymore"
