Still not sure what the heck is going on or why it is doing what it is doing but...
The egr stuck open on the protege again, this will be the third time, I put a new one on everytime because the parts guys warrantied them for me. I said screw it this time. Made a block-off plate. Left the electrical portion unplugged. Figured I would have a cel immediatly with it being unplugged. No cel. Figured next year for nysi I would have to play around for the readiness tests.
Well this is day three, I drive 92miles a day, all highway. No cel. And the real kicker, checked the readiness tests, it ran and passed the egr test.
Not quite sure what to make of it yet. Def. not what I was expecting.
