Leaking Seals - 1k?

Hello - first post here. Never had an issue before with my 09 CX9 Grand Touring. I have 59,100 miles. Dealer did an oil change & lube on WED for me -- they advised I have 2 leaking seals requiring replacement:
1. LEAK AT TRANSMISSION PAN = $450
2. REAR AXLE SEAL (DRIVER) = $520
Any chance these should be covered under warranty before I roll over 60k miles?
Thnx in advance,

I had the differential seals replaced due to "wet spot" under PowerTrain warranty.
The cost your listed is too high.
Check with another dealer.

They quoted you the cost to replace the whole unit.
In my case, only the two seals were replaced. Hence, the huge difference in costs.

Browns Chantilly VA Mazda -- thats where I bought and all my service has been there. So, I inquired about the powertrain 60K warranty to cover the trans pan and the driver side diff. Service writer said warranty wld cover diff but not trans pan. I asked him to bump up that decision and call me. He called later and said Mazda wld cover trans pan too. // Picked up today. Loud rubbing noise on fromt right as I go into a left turn. Luckily (I thought) i test drove in the lot of dealer. But 1 hour later, service writer said "Oh, that new sound is nothing to do with work we just did. Its just coincidence that your rotors and pads went bad since Thursday." Ah well -- they need to recover the warranty money somewhere.
