I recently got a sound system installed in my car and I had the LC8i Audio Control installed as well. Hopefully there are people here that are familiar with this control. Basically, what this allows me to do is plug my ipod directly through its digital output rather than through the 1/8". It also allows me to control my sub volume because it provides a knob (this knob is an infinite scroll knob so there it just keeps turning).
The issue is that when I'm listening to any type of audio through the head unit, there's a low buzzing noise. I originally thought it was a ground loop but when we checked it out and figured there wasn't any ground loop, we still heard the noise. But the weird thing is that if i turn the sub volume knob to its max (even though its infinite scroll, there's still a max to the sub volume), the buzzing noise disappears. But if I turn it one click back to the left, the buzzing noise comes back. So I thought that it may have something to do with this audio control.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
