Just wanted to say hi I just picked up a Laser Blue MSP on Friday. I traded a 2003 Subaru WRX for it and am loving every minute of it.

WELCOME TO THE SITE!! Enjoy your stay.

Laser Blue is a hot color. What made you trade the WRX for the MSP?

None around you they had 2 outta 3 dealerships around here! The WRX was a really good car but I wasn't driving it because of my long commute and it wasn't too comfortable for the long drives plus gas mileage wasn't that great. With the rebates and everything I was able to get out of the WRX and pay 150 less per month. Plus I had been trying to sell the WRX for like 5 months.

I just bought my Laser Blue Msp one week ago and i love it, but i would have traded you for the WRX in a heart beat! Thats one of my favorite cars. Oh well, welcome to the list congratrs on your car.

*ahem* excuse me, going to an MSP from a WRX is not a downgrade. they're not the same performance wise, but that doesn't mean overall customer satisfaction isn't very competitive between these two cars.

btw, welcome to the forums ! nice color ! i was thinking of that one or my titanium...i went w/ the titanium because i didn't want dickheads leaving their personal mark on my car.

jayflow, kumusta ka? :D

sorry for the threadjack. ^_^

Could more than make the payments. The whole story goes like this I got a Job that is 60 mile commute one way 120 round trip. When I bought the WRX I had never intended to use it like this a pile on all the miles. I would only get low 20s mpg and something about the seats made my lower back hurt (I am only 25 so I am not old :p ) Anyway, I decided to buy a 95 Nissan pickup w/ only 62k on it for 6000 cash and drive it as a commuter but that hasn't worked out either something is wrong with and with nothing but highway miles I only could get 17 mpg (4 cylc and was suppose to do 24) after about 1000 between techs throwing parts at it a diagnostics still the same runs great but crappy mpg still. So I am thinking and still paying insurance and notes on the WRX but only driving it 500 miles in the last 5 months and everybody that is about to buy it never can come up with the funds so at last I am see away to reduce the fleet down to 2 cars once again and with the great deals on the MSP. One of the things that drew me to the car is that it is already together w/ and nice sound system, wheels and a turbo still plus great handling. Anyway that is it hope I didn't bore you with the details I kept my STi key though. :( I will miss it but I think it is for the best. Here is a pic.

I've been on Nasioc for over 4years.

I recognize that WRX, Uk 17 wheels, STi grill/projectors.

Whats yoru user name on nasioc?

Welcome aboard and I love the color!!! :D The WRX was also one of my dream cars. Just can't fit it in the budget for the STI!

Yep you hit the nail on the head UK wheels, STi Projectors, and grill. WRX is faster but the MSP doesn't feel slow to me at all but I am still breaking her in I will post some pics tonite when I get home. I mostly posted on clubwrx.net rarely on nasioc.com and I always use the same name TonyMS.

Msp is a great but thats looking for a good drivetrain.

Tranny and engine refinment is way below the Ej20t. The tranny isn't smooth, engine has alot of holes in the fuel map and the engine mounts are weak and the engine dances all around shaking the car.
