Laser Blue, an air born problem?

I have a question for all those out there that have the laser blue mica. I love to wash my car and keep it clean, i do it almost everyday just for fun. For some unexplicable reason, everytime I clean my car, a bird shats right on the hood or on my spoiler not even 10 minutes after its totally dryed off. Does anyone else have this problem, do birds mistaken this laser blue for a small pond of some sort? I only hand wash it now, no need to waste 7 bucks washing her and then have the V crew come over me and shat away...

It's the damn antenna! Birds sit on mine all the time and s*** on my spoiler. Stupid fuckers.

seriously i was going to start a thread about this...i could have 8000 s*** spots on my car, and none on the ground around it...seriously and scientifically speaking, why do birds s*** on cars? what makes them want to s*** on my car intead of on the ground. i mean, were talking like less than a foot distance difference. somehow a bird managed to s*** on the lip of my rim today.

:wtf:

I haven't had a bird problem, but I noticed bugs like it a whole lot. During the summer the car will be covered with bugs like it has some kind of bait on it! Friggin annoying.

I dont have a problem with birds at all, almost never have crap on the car. However my car is attracted to idiot drivers (nuts) who like to ding the hell out of the doors....

ME TOO!!!! Stupid bitches and their cars.

The other day I came out of a store to see a shopping cart up against my bumper. Fortunately there was no damage, and normally I would move the cart to one of those "Cart Corrals" (or whatever you want to call it) but the store didn't have any. So as I left it 2 spots away from my car, it began to roll towards it again. I had to run around my car and lunge to stop it from hitting, then i just pushed it over.

well, before today i could only agree with MR EDZ, since my car has been backed into, dented, and scratched. but now i have two s*** loads one on my door handle MY ******* DOOR HANDLE!!!! (luckily the passenger door) thats a little rediculous. Do they place bets on how close they can get to hitting the ground but still hit the car? the other one is on the hood but so big it actually overlaps onto the fender just a little bit. damnit i dont feel like washing the car.

Yeah, birds love my car too. Bugs not quite as much, but yeah, it's nasty. They don't seem to go for the silver cars on my lot as much.

Funny s***....pun intended

My blue mp3 used to get crapped on all the time. Not so much a problem with the grey. I guess my grey blends in with the road :)

i think it's a territory-marking thing. damn birds competing with humans!!! (dunno)

laser blue is uncommon and unnatural, so they feel the need to mark their territory. just to be assholes.

actually, i love birds, and i wish i knew why my baby is a s***-magnet.

well, to be honest, i hear its good luck for a bird to s*** on your car. They never did it before this week, and i have had bad luck with it so far, so maybe that'll change. But i heard this from the same lady that told me to egg a n ew car for good luck(my grandmother). Ah well, im drugged up off day quil so......

bird s*** and egg when baked on in the sun can destroy your paint very very quickly.

Get a Clay bar, keep it around for such times. Do not try to wipe or buff out this stuff as it'll take the paint with it. I've seen so many people make the mistake of thinking, it'll just wipe right off......it's not funny.

Actually I think the color IS too natural, and the color attracts animals/bugs. Kinda like how some are attracted to certain flowers/plants due to the coloring.

Now that you mention this, I can't remember how many people have asked me "do you park under a tree? cuz birds s*** all over your car!" and well, i don't park under a tree... make me wish birds had cars, so i could s*** on their car! teach them a lesson or two! stupid little birds....

I don't have too many problems with this, but I park in a garage. (lol2) Maybe its Karma and not the color. (naughty)

As far as bugs go, I don't think we give them much choice. (lol2) We are definitely the aggressors there. ;)

By $7, I hope you don't mean you were washing your car at a drive-through gas station car wash or w/e. Unless it's the kind like we have here (which I still refuse to use) that is completely touchless, I would only wash your MSP by hand or at one of the DIY places with the pressure sprayers.

Seems like it's a good thing I bought Titanium...I've never had any problems with it getting dirty other than from driving on the highway so much.

Haha, I didnt know I had the pleasure of starting quite a halarious thread. This bird shat on my car two days ago, it hit the spolier and swung around it and just blendered the back end with fecal debri...it was quite amusing to watch, quite exhausting to clean.
