Laps for Tina Charity Autocross ~ Saturday, June 16, 2012 @ Geauga Lake (NORA event)

Wow tons of drivers registered for this 129 when I last looked!

Last time I ran, they had a total of 160-ish. I want to say we got 4 runs on each layout, divided in 3 run groups.

The course was shorter though, and they didn't have so many issues with the timer. Last time I was there there were around 70 people, 2 run groups, no lunch break, got done at like 3:30

I'm going to try to get out off work and on the road before 11pm so I might bea little late over to your place Evan, but I would rather do that than wake up at 5 or earlier then go straight there.

My normal number of 4 was already taken for STX and I didn't have a magnetic X anyways so I made some fancy new number panels for tomorrow:

I will be there around 8 ish to set up camp Mazda I will have my easy up and large cooler if anyone needs to keep stuff cool.

I'll be there around that time as well.

Those look really good, Will. I might hit you up for some number panels like that if you would be willing to make some. No pressure, of course.

The P5 is washed, Enkei's are on, fluids topped off, helmet tools and torque wrench in the car and Gatorade in the cooler. See you guys tomorrow morning! (2thumbs)

That was a hoot. I'm certainly sticking to street tires for a while though. And I nailed 2 cones on my first two runs. I needed to slow down and not push so hard then my times were faster. Still a blast though! And congrats to Evan #2 for kicking so much ass on track! You're a natural, man.

good times, damn it was hot but good times. Corey's car has TONS of grip, holy s***...

the brakes are working really well, I may have been stepping on them too hard as I was used to having to do so in order to stop, so my ABS was kicking on a lot... decided to push it more on the second run so I almost spun out, maybe Will can comment on how it actually looked lol

I was drifting a little on some corners, that was fun, I'll be trying new things with the rear sway next time and see if I get better results

Did you see that cat in the black 2010 Mazda3? He was flooring it through the slaloms and cooking his tires. Every pass he did that. I mean, I'm terrible but I'm not as bad as him. haha

yeah I saw that, he's been autoxing with them for a while (saw him in several pictures). His car looks really good, but he needs to take it easier on teh slaloms
