Laloosh gets tuned

Ok so my dashhawk came in and i started tuning with the wideband.
First off, this was done in about 5 pull, all 4th gear, Its crude, spare me.
2nd off, people running 18 psi on the stock pump SHOULD REALLY MONITOR THEIR A/F ratios as mine were lean down low and not really rich up top, keep in mind i have an upgraded fuel pump

Mods:
cpe intake
cpe ems at 18.1 psi
pg catted tbe
pg fuel pump

here is what my tuned a/f ratio looks like. keep in mind these are REAL a/f ratio done on the highway in 4th gear. My lap top died but its easy to see that the lil bump down low can be tuned out by adding my fuel.
afratio.jpg

i was aiming for 11.5-11.8
The pg pump acts great

Here is the tune, i dont feel like uploading it.
Boost: 18psi
Map Clip: 13psi (cpe said clamping the map doesnt effect timing or fuel)
from 2100 to 2800 rpm +12
3100 to 3300 +5
3600 +4
3800 to 4300 all 0
4500 -2
4800 to 5500 -3
5700 to 6200 -2
6500-7000 -3

I know this is crude, but like i said for some reason my having problems uploading the files from the hawk via vista. I can read them fine through the hawk though. I understand this is ghetto as hell to some, but its better then nothing.

btw the dash hawk has the ability to read commanded a/f ratios. The ecu actually asks for a/f ratios as rich as 9.2 in some areas. Thats crazy

FINAL TUNE. 40 DEGREES OUTSIDE, PRESSURE AROUND 30.
MODS:
CPE INTAKE
CPE EMS
PG CATTED TBE
PG HP CDFP
BOOST: 18.0 PSI

The tune screen shot, timing left stock

4th gear wot throttle run. For some reason once u upload the data to a computer it reacts different then from viewing it strictly on the dashawk. I can't get rid of that dip just like dadaracer. It spikes to about 13.5-6 at around 2700-2800 rpm during spool up.
4-5Shift.jpg

4-5 halfway through 4th going through 5th

Notice how starting down low leans the a/f ratio out for the rest of the run. On the 4-5 shift run the a/f ratio is a tad lower hovering right around 11.5-11.7 while on the 4th gear low rpm run it stays right around 11.8-12.0. Any questions feel free to ask

More to come saturday night, I will pretty much make a a line btwn 11.5-11.8. I need about 4-5 more runs(humpleg) PLus i had a strange feeling that going 110 in the same stretch of road was going to get me in trouble lol

110, exit, uturn, 110 rince and repeat

I cant wait to see more progress.
I also cant wait for winter to be over so you can hit the track again, see if you can get an even better time.

keep up the good work

Good stuff laloosh! Cant wait for my pump im just waiting on PG.

I have a 2pid bar set up with Commanded on bottom and the Wb on top it is crazy to see ECU calling for 9.5's -10's at WOT

I'm assuming you meant the in tank or inline fuel pump, because it says in your post that you have a PG fuel pump.

Well someone who isnt ready for the pump could still go with a meth inj kit to tie them over. Thast will control the lean condition with a higher octane charge for safety. Im glad to see that youre checking your AFRs and this should wake a few people up boosting their cars with no upgraded pumps.

Ive noticed your adding/removing fuel there Loosh. Are you going to add some timing and race fuel to get that cars power up there?

He is talking about his upgraded High Pressure Fuel pump(bought from PG-Protege Garage). Part of tuning is to take control of the rich to lean spiking in your AF and dial it in. Hence needing more runs.

This was done in 4-5 pulls, i know its not perfect. It is also raw data not smooth out dyno results. I will dial it in btw 11.5 11.8 once i have some free time. I will also add more fuel down low to correct for that lil 12.5 spike

Laloosh, there are multiple AFR parameters on the MS3 OBDII. There's the AFR Commanded by the equivalence ratio and then theres 2 measured AFRs. Do you know which one you logged?

If you have a Dashhawk and the new beta version 6, you cant mistake the PID's

If you look at the very top of the graph you can see the Sensors(PID's) i have selected for this run**notice the yellow one :) *** also notice my stock FP taking a vacation after 5100 RMP (cryhard) Cant wait for my pump!

Also notice my 9.8 AFR and where the Commanded ask's for a 9.29(pukey)

good job laloosh, i see rose gave you the hawk before christmas even? you're lucky to have such a nice lady in your life.

She's the greatest(smoke)

As for which PID i picked. I picked botht he commanded and actual a/f ratio. The ecu actually wants to see as low as 9.2, the primary wideband tries to flow that but fails lol, is still dips into the 10s stock, but donw low it gets very lean. I will try to make this thing work with my girlies laptop...she still has xp. Plus if it stops drizzling, ill go out and fine tune it later and post screen shots of the final tune with the af ratio. As for the cpe unit, lets not even bring that up

So you're having the same issue at low rpm that I have....

Red is 18 psi, blue is 19. The lean hump before 3K is similar to yours and I have the cp-e pump.
12-14-07dyno 19.webp

Also, the afr here is measured at the exhaust exit after the cat. It will therefore look leaner than the factory wideband that laloosh is monitoring. At high temps our cat reduces NOx emissions producing N2 and O2 which makes the car appear leaner than it actually is.

lol i have no hump, i added fuel and and it went buh bye. I will update with a/f ratio's when my girlie brings the powercord for the lap top as it died AGAIN. Im not running a stock cat, im running a high flow vibrant cat. Also my a/f ratios are at 12.5 yours are at 13.5, big difference, now they are at 11.8 btwn 2700-2900

Yeah, 12.5 measured by the factory WBO2 sensor before your cat... We have nothing to validate the accuracy of that wideband btw.
I'll be looking for that new graph.

i sense such hate....ill be sure to pm it to you when i post it. Hopefully tonight. People need to realize that i never post lies or bulls***, the sooner the better

btw post your tune, well see if it simliar, if we are adding removing the same amounts of fuel, i would assume the stock wideband is pretty dead on. Hell honda and kpro use nothing but their own wideband to tune, works great.
