LA mazda club

hey
me and bradlyc are trying to start up a LA mazda club.

but first off id like to get some small meets going in both places (shreveport area and baton rouge area)...

since im from south la i dont know many places to meet in north la, but im more than willing to help plan it or whatever.

us south LA people, i was thinking about no problem raceway in napoleanville (sp?) and if not that there are some good places in baton rouge. i know we can get a few people out to those places. NPR has a few open track days (strip and road course) so i thought we could meet around those dates so we can have the track to go play on

please post here what you think or a possible date to get some meets together.

yea id like to get some people there....since there are about 5-7 active members from LA, my goals are not set too high for this first meet, but maybe the 2nd or 3rd we can have more people show up.

where you live in relation to baton rouge/new orleans? or are you in northern part of state?

Hey guys. I live in Lafayette. I haven't been on much lately though. Got no money for mods! Anyway, I could get on with a meet if it isn't too far away. Baton Rouge or Alexandria are good for me.

I know I don't own a mazda anymore, but i'll come to the meets if I can. I leave the country to go to the giant sandbox next week, but i'll be back in late April/early May timeframe.

besides, I still owe Heath a promised ride in the SI. It'll be faster after I get back, too.

North LA: Mazdaspeed75, brad, luke, leppy

is that correct? how many of you guys are willing for all of us to meet at a central location later on in the year?
im looking to get us south guys together in early feb if possible or even late jan. and then a all of LA meet sometime later...summer maybe? so everyone is out of school?and you north la people...i can help organize something for you guys also.

I say central meets in or around Alexandria would be nice. I think it's only a couple hours away from everyone. Well, it may be further from the N.O guy's by about an hour...

or if the south guy's are willing, there are some bad ass restaurants forming around here, and a drag track 45 minutes away from Shreveport...

alright i found a new white rx7 in town today, and put my name and number on the window, hopefully i'll get a call, but if u guys see cars like this around town, do what i did and write your phone number down and put la mazda club on there, i'm about to find a new guy that drives a mazda 3, with slight mods on it! also got a guy on another forum name dj slack miata
