Hi everybody.
I have a 06 MSP 6 and i want to know if the pistons and rods are forged and also if theres something that I could do to keep the boost high because I feel that the car gets to a peak boost and then it gets down.Is htere any sensor or something to do and if there is, it reflects on the chek engine or anything that void the warranty?

Accord to the "unmentionable forum" and the mazda website the crank and rods are forged...the pistons are "significantly stronger to handle the increased strain"...whether that means forged or not I'm not sure... There are several theories to the boost drop issue...many attribute it to restrictive exhaust, leaky bov, and ecu limitation due to efficiency of the turbo... there are a few threads on here where people switched to a mbc and were able to hold boost through redline. Raising the boost will most certainly void your warranty...
