Know anything about this intake? Looks homemade!

Does anyone know anything about this intake setup or this guy? It looks like you could make it yourself but if he's got just the right combination it might just work. Link below:

Looks lame to me. Its just one of those extentions of the stock air intake system. Just a new filter and like 3-4 more inches away from the engine.

That's what I'm wondering!! I just didn't want to talk bad about it and find out 30 people on here have the same thing and it adds 15 HP or somthing. Definitely not a COLD air intake. I think Wingman's looks better anyway!

i want to make one for myself, but i am not sure what to do withthe sensor located in the airbox. (not the maf, the one that plugs into the box) Anyone have a pic of how i could put it in, perhaps a good view of a injen?

dynoed my car stock, then with a setup exactly like this.
went from 153 whp to 142 whp.

I really dont think... anyway my car doesnt seem to have lost 10whp !!!
The air that get sucked is coming a lot from the hole so thats cold air !!!
And the fan is mostly blocked by the coolant bottle !!!

i dont think a short ram gives or takes from performance, i mean yes its been proven now that the conefilter intstead of the airbox does because of the fan. but from what i remember reading a while back in a magazine, the short ram like that didnt give much power because the intercooler was too small. but after the ic was put in it gave more

u dont have a short ram,
u have an elbow on a stock pipe.

and thinking or not thinking has nothing to do with it.
it has been proven before, and not just by me.

stock airbox is not as bad as people think it is.
put a K&N panel filter into it, and u'll have much better performance than with the setup u have now.

u're also getting shittier gas milage with what u got right now.
