No seriously I hear a knocking clunking sound when ever i go over a big enough bump with my MSP.... is this a usual thing that happens to this car....?????

yup.... i have the same problem in my car. i put it up on the lift to check things out and figure out what it was and sure enough it was the rear sway bar bushings. they just get so worn that the sway bar can actually move around inside the bushing and thats where the clunking comes from.

Thanx alot guys,,, i thought it was alot more serious than that,,,how much would that cost?

depends on if u go with stock replacements or awr. i recommend the awr polyurethane bushings. they are very easy to replace too. they run about 30 bucks.

Another thing to take into consideration when replacing the bushings, is to order replacement hardware, 4 bolts, 4 nuts just in case. Odds are if you've never done this before, the subframe bracket bolts are rusted, and a pain in the ass to remove. Definitley have some liquid wrench available. Second the nuts, are spot welded (poorly) to the inside of the subframe, and most of the time, come loose with a lot of torque, so you are gonna need to hold a wrench on one side, and turn the head. That being said, have brand new nuts to replace the cracked subframe ones makes putting it back together 10x easier, plus I assure you, this wont be the last time you, either replace or lubricate the bushings.

Bolts and nuts are approximatley 2 bucks each, need 4 bolts, and most likely a few nuts. You can probably find a suitable supp at a napa or pep boys etc, I just prefer using factory hardware on stressed component.
