Last night while on my way to a local In-N-Out Burger (hang out spot), I ran into another yellow MP3. I followed this cat down a few streets and finally he realized I was following him and pulled over. His car was stock of course, but then I noticed he had a sunroof so I asked if his car came with it and his replied yeah. So then I asked how much he payed for it.....His next response almost made me want to yell at him. He only payed $17,800 plus tax and all that of course. I've learned my lesson now, I will never pay over MSRP again.

In-N-Out Burger is good stuff...

Oh wait, that is kind of screwy though...

I assume he purchased his car NEW.

You sure he didn't at least pay demo pricing? Paying $17,800 without the sunroof is one thing, but for a new no mileage car? That just means the dealership was willing to lose some money in that sell if it was sold as new in the first place.

I bought mine last year from the Mazda dealer with 6,000 miles on it in perfect condition for $16,950. Pretty good, huh? I'd say his deal is pretty darn good considering it is a no mileage car and the roof (which I didn't know was an option on a MP3) is probably at least $700-$800. Interesting.

Paid $17,865 for a new Yellow - no sunroof. Price all depends on supply and demand in your local area.

Hehe, you know if was fun though. I'll try not to drift until I get newer tires. They car did feel more unstable than usual. No I didn't inform him of this site becuase he didn't seem like he know what he was driving.

I will take to double doubles with cheese, I am glad that you didn't tell him if he didn't know what he has then we don't need the turd on this site. You rock Apex!!!!

I saw the "normal" 2001+ es/p5 sunroof. It won't fit without chaing the dome light and reading lights. So anyone who has a sunroof on their mp3, post pics, I'd like to see how well it is done, cause if it's pimp, maybe I'll have the dealer do the same to mine.

I paid total 30K CAD, 20K USD with 5 years warranty tax included.

Not pennies. But I am pleased. :)

Hmm... $19,200 off the parking lot.

I'm also a VERY happy owner.... turbo or no turbo. :D

Oh, forgot to add that I didn't get anything beyond 3 years warranty.

Contemplating on the 100, 000 miles extended warranty by insurance company though... still have sometime to make that decision.
