kinda a dilemma

Can't wait to see it Mark. I know you'll make a good choice. Maybe you'll finally get to come autocrossing too? ;)

You should consider listing your car as a whole Mark. Not sure what you would need to get to offset the benefits of the partout but you have a looot of stuff to take off....maybe you could trade it as-is for a lower mileage stock P5 (plus money)?
i'm not sure about the interest in a bossted auto? the devil i know might be the way to go...?

yup! for sure!

Well you could list it for sale now or in the next few months if you wanted...see what kind of interest there is from the forums and beyond....if it sells then you use some of the $$ for a stock beater for the winter and it allows you to take advantage of a killer deal on an mx5 during the winter months if you should happen to find one as opposed to buying it in the spring/summer. If it doesn't sell you just return to stock and part out as planned come spring time.

so i found a 06 with 13k miles for 17k...sounds a bit steep, but i've been looking and any good low mileage miata is right there....bruce said fall might be a good time to buy but i'm not sure it matters a whole lot especially to dealers!

What model was it Mark? Sport, GT? Sport according to KBB is 17k for private, 19k for dealer in excellent cond.

Oleg, what did you pay for your sport?

Hmm....Bruce + Miata, Mark + Miata, Oleg + Miata. What's wrong here? ;)

Any links to the car Mark?

Bruce, I have a GT. I paid $17750 for a 2006 GT with 17K miles a year ago. A 2006 sport with 13K miles should not be costing $17K.

Thanks Oleg, Mark what model was it? If it had leather it was a GT or limited. If not then a touring, if a 5 speed, or a sport, 6 speed.

Oleg, best of luck with the surgery.

Advertised for $17.3? You can probably pick that up for $15.5 if you try hard. I bet definitely at $16K.

they won't even talk any price unless i drive out there...i'll hold off on that one.....found a nice first gen with 18k miles for 5600???

The interior is in mint condition (black cloth seats...includes almost new Miata floor mats). The A/C works great. Wow nice condition. Will have the 1.6. I prefer the 94-97, but it looks clean. Hardtop is included. only 18,000 on it. very unusual. The early 1.6's had an issue with the short crank. I'm not familar with it. Check online for details. See if it's been addressed.

Also check the softtop to see if it needs replacing or has been.
