Today, I received my purchased OEM Keyless Remote Transmitter and OEM VIN cut Blank Key that I paid $64.00, was delivered in three days.

Here is the part number for the key:
GD7B-76-201A

Here is the part number for the transmitter:
BL8D675RY

I used the Remote Programming instructions that I found on the forum and they worked. Yet, I think I should add to it through my experience today.
Here are the instructions I used with my addition BOLD BLUE:

Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.

Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver door using the power door lock switch on the door.

Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.

Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.

Step 5: Open and close the driver door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).

Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.

Step 7: Press any button on remote #1. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition, get out of the car, shut the door and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done!

Think I just saved around $300.00.

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. The items that I received are OEM parts.

I am not writing about a switchblade key.

I can take pics and post them.

Cool. Thanks for posting the part numbers.
My key is fine. Do I NEED to order a new blank?

Yes, OEM does stand for Original Equipment Manufacturer. There are OEM switchblade keys (for the Mz3, Miata, etc) that might work on the P5, and so I was asking if that is what you had purchased. Apparently not- your post was slim on details, so I thought I would ask.

OEM fob and OEM blank key can be had for about half that much or less........not from a dealership or online oem parts place tho.
