Keyless entry help

Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction here:
My keyless entry fobs work to lock all doors and trunk, and work on first click to unlock the driver door, but do nothing on second click where they should be unlocking all other doors and trunk.
In the past, I have had intermittent functionality... Which tells me it's not a problem with the individual actuators.
Local dealer claims to have never heard of this before and estimated up to $1000 just to diagnose!

Thanks.

Try this sunk sequence. I'm not sure if it'll work on your Gen 3, but it might be worth a try.

Step 1: Open driver side door and leave open.

Step 2: Lock and Unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door

Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.

Step 4: Turn Key to ON position and return to Lock (off) position. Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. LEAVE key in the ignition in Lock (off) position.

Step 5: Close and open the drivers door 3 times. Leave door open after this step

Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors once.

Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

Step 8: Additional remotes, repeat Step 7 for up to 3 remotes total.

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks.

Thanks Concept,
I tried the sequence and the car did respond just as you described, but unfortunately it hasn't solved the problem. I wonder what that indicates???
Any ideas?

So #7 did not work? Did the ECU loclock and unlock all doors (step 6)?

In both cases, it responded by locking them all, then unlocking the driver door only.
