I am in Houston so it is getting really hot during the day. I have a 2013 CX-9 Touring and have no problem so far. About 2 weeks ago during noon time I need go somewhere, when I tried to use key-less entry from driver side door and there was no response, I took out my key and tried to unlock the door and there was still no response. I finally unlocked the door with the physical key and thought the battery on the remote was dead, but somehow key-less ignition still worked. Since then I noticed that if I tried to unlock the car during noon time then 8 of 10 times I had to try a couple times to get the door unlocked, but no problem in the morning or late afternoon. This leads me to believe somehow the key-less/remote unlock mechanism got stuck under Texas heat, it is kind of strange. I am going to have oil changed next week so will mention the problem to dealer. So anyone can share his thoughts on this problem? Maybe I should have the remote battery changed first?
