And if you can't figure that out, I sure as hell hope you didn't vote!GI- said:Since when doesn't it? 51% of anything is, by definition, a majority!
Well actually it was only almost half of the people who can "legally" vote not half of the country.KpaBap said:Since when does 51% equal a majority?
So today, half the country is pissed off and doesn't want Bush in office. Doesn't that disturb anyone?
Half is not a small number.
Ok fine, nitpickers, 48%![]()
Well it looks like enough of us zealots could see well enough to find our ways to the polls last night. (flame) (eek2) (flame)KpaBap said:Good going you blind mindless zealot. Enjoy your $1trillion deficit.

don't worry, we get a shitload of immigrants too. the US isnt the only country all those people are going to to save themselves from their own countryGI- said:4) How in the hell do you figure that Canadians have more freedoms in what they can "belive" in than Americans do? People flee their countries on a daily basis to become American citizens...why? Because they know that they will be able to live in a free society and not be persecuted for their beliefs.
I never said that!Metal MP5 said:don't worry, we get a shitload of immigrants too. the US isnt the only country all those people are going to to save themselves from their own country
The price of health care has gone way up. You may not care now, but when you have an employer who has to pay for your health insurance and they don't want to pay the huge amounts that they're escalating to then they will start taking some of your benefits away.pdhaudio83 said:yeah, i mean, look at how "great" canadian health care is...
if you want that....
You know who you can personally point the finger at and thank for rising costs of health care don't you???cbcbd said:The price of health care has gone way up. You may not feel that now, but when you're older and start needing more surgery and odd-ball stuff done and you're plan doesn't cover it or covers less of it then it used to AND you pay more for it, you'll be pissed.
We were talking about this in AP History today... I dont like Bush at all, but I would take Bush over Cheney ANY day of the week.MSPinVA said:Speaking of Bush getting shot at, and this is way way off topic, but he will be the first president elected on a zero year not to have an assassination attempt against him/die in office since Harrison in the 1840s if he makes it to January without one.
Edit: scratch that, hes got 4 more years to die/get shot at. The "curse" does carry over in the event of re-election
What are you talking about exactly?GI- said:You know who you can personally point the finger at and thank for rising costs of health care don't you???
That's right, John Edwards himself. The Vice Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. If he had not gone after and bled all of the big health care firms for every penny they had, health care costs would not be nearly as high as they are now. They need to charge twice as much, just to cover themselves in lawsuits from ******* liberal lawyers who sue at the very whisper of the word "malpractice".
i just seemed like you were saying that everybody goes to the US to escape their countryGI- said:I never said that!
