Kenwood 919 installing into a p5..

getting the stock radio out was easy after I went back to Advanced Auto and bought another set of the "radio removal" kits.. being as that our cars have a "double decker" radio, you need 2 of the kits so you'll have 4 of the wires to pull it out with..
I LOVE the Kenwood though.. it sounds good even with just the stock speakers.. (until I can save up for some better ones..)

Yes, tweeter dropped Kenwood. Best Buy still has them.
Also, they never carried the 80-7903, they carry the 70-7903 which is a car specific harness only. So they will work with any radio.
The 80-7903 is a mazda specific to universal harness that is ment to connect to another radio specific harness. Each of which is around $17

I got my 80-7903 at Circuit City.. it made it really easy to just "plug and play"..
