Alright guys i decided im not too fond of the tweed in my car (shown in another thread) so im ordering all new interior from Katzkin. Now the part i need helpp with is should i go with the Black leather and blue suade inserts or should i do black PERFORATED leather with the suade inserts. OR should i do the carbon shadow with blue suade iserts? Also they come with new door panels, i dont know exactly which part of the door panel they replace but ill find out soon enough.
Oh yeah and do you think that the mazda emblem would be kool embroydered in the head rests??

Hey mazda3zoom,

Just to let you know, when I got my Katzkin interior they were running a superbowl promotion. I don't know if thaqt is something they do every year or not, but it saved me some money. The way the promotion worked was they gave you in dollars off the total score of the game. I got lucky and the score for my game was (Tampa Bay 48, Oakland 21) so I got an extra $69 off. Plus they gave you free shipping and embroydering. The only bad thing is they would not embroyder the Mazda emblem because they said they didn't have the rights. So I got a local embroyder to do mine.

I would go with the blue inserts for sure.

DaveB the interior looks sweet. You were satisfied with the quality of the product i take it?? and when they sent you the door pannel parts was it the whole door pannel or just a piece that you had to put in yourself?? and what do you mean dont forget the cost to install them?? Thats sweet that you got the superbowl discount but i dont need to do that as im a dealer so i get the kit at cost.
So if anyone wants the seats and stuff once i get mine ill post pics and i can get anyone a better deal on it. I think im goin with the perforated leather too.. (thumb)

yeah it does look pretty sweet except you HAVE to have the inserts perforated, even if its suade or cloth. not to mention the price.....the heated seats are really nice thought. While my car was outta commision i was driving a lincoln LS and it had leather and heated seats and after that i love those things. i might look into buying the heating units...someday.

The LS seats also have A/C...although in MI the heated seats are probably more suitable but then again, a de-humidifier would be nice huh...HAHAHAHA

i think the interior is gonna run like $500 and i planned on installing it all myself. and if i run into any problems my aunts gotta big industrial type sewing machine.

I like tweed. IMO tweed looks good when it's all tweeded. Things look out of place when it's 50% one thing and 50% of another. The blue and black tweed would look sick if it were covering everything.
