Kartboy shifter + MSP knob

i know this has been discussed many times, but i haven't found the answer i was looking for...

is there any way to make the MSP knob fit with the Kartboy shifter??
rethreading the shifter/knob or any solution??

you can rethread the shifter. I think the kartboy was made for the MSP too, when they were selling it, the website asked if you had a MSP or a reg protege.

Yeah my stock knob fit my kartboy just fine along with my greddy counterweight.

i have a kartboy shifter in my 03.5 msp now. and the 03.5 shiftknob would not thread onto the kartboy shifter thats why i have the all back kartboy knob. even if i could put the 03.5 knob on i dont think i would because the kartboy knob is so ****** nice, and feels alot better in my hand than the 03.5 imo. but they dont make the shifter or the knob for the msp anymore according to there website last time i checked it was discontinued, but i could be wrong.

Have you tried any other knobs on it? Such as the regular protege knob or the 03 MSP knob? If anyone else knows please chime in...I'm trying to figure out if my kartboy in my LX with the LX knob will work with the 03.5 knob. Thanks!

currently, i'm able to turn the knob 360 degrees on the shifter, but no luck after that...does anyone think that could do the job? it doesn't move, but i don't want to damage the thread of the knob or the shifter.

i dotn have a 03 knob in front of me but the car i got it off was my friends 03 msp and if i remeber correctly he couldent fit his stock sparco knob on it either
