I was wondering if the Kartboy shifter uses the same threads as the factory shifter - In other words: will our MP3 shift knob fit on the Kartboy shifter?

Tom has not been able to establish this definitively yet...becuase he doesn't know the thread size and pitch of the MP2 shifter knob threads....SO, if you can take your knob off and measure them and tell him he would GREATLY appreciate it....NOW, I do know that the shifter works with the P-5 knob and its 10 mm X 1.25 thread pitch.....so if yours is that size...it works...and if it is PLEASE post that info here so everyone will know once and for all.

well guys its comfirmed that the short shifter doesent have the same thread as the mp3 knob... tom is making me a knob today. so i should have it soon... but this really helped the mp3...
actually my car dosent grind into gears anymore since i put it in...
