I installed my new K&N drop in filter tonight. No complaints here, it sounds cool, and throttle response seems much improved. I can throw my car into a fit of wheel hop by quickly dumping clutch in second gear, something it didn't do before. Not that wheelhop is a good thing, but it does point to a increase in responsiveness.
I also fully de-orange-condomed my gauge lights. So now its all orange and bright, and looks sweet. Especially with my DaveB rings.
Now hopefully the Mazda dealer in town will fix up my clunky creaky suspension tomorrow, i can rotate the tires, and it'll be major ass kicking time at the auto-x!
