Yes I went to streetbatlle the past 2 nights in which my mazda ran a 16.30 as my best time. And while I was there I decided to enter a raffle for 3 bucks a ticket to win a nitrous kit. I bought 35 dollars worth of tickets and won this is friggin awesome. should I get someone to install it for me or can I do it myself.:) :) :) :) :)

I would sell it, nitrous is scary. You also can not just install it to be safe. You need supporting mods, i think. I dont know much about nitrous but I think you would be better off selling it and put that money in a turbo fund or on other upgrades.

Actually, from what I understand nitrous isn't nearly as harsh as boost, depending on how big the shot you run is, and burns much cleaner. It's all a matter of how often you spray and how big of a shot you decide to run. If you have any questions man, I'll relay them to my boss, he has been running nitrous for years without any problems.

Secrets of nitrous, I'm a nitrous user I'll be happy to answer any question you have. First thing you should do Is get a bootle pressure guage if you don't have one yet:) Safety is important. So your most impotant two mods are 1)High Octane Gas 2)The right Spark plugs. Using the wrong plugs is very bad just like a turbo engine.

3) a Fuel Pressure Safety Switch. Makes things nice and safe. It will cut nitrous if fuel pressure goes down for any reason, and prevents you from going lean.

Only spray in 3 gear and up at Wide Open Throttle. Always start with small shots. If you get an RPM window switch your system will become even safer and you can safely spray in all gears (1st & 2nd without one are bad because you might over rev the engine).

THE best supporting mod is to open up your exhaust. And if you want comfort & consistency a remote bottle opener and automated bottle heater are great things to get down the line.

Nitrous is safer than boost if you spray responsibly. Most people have the wrong idea from seeing F&F a few too many times. Nitrous is FI, your just sticking more Oxygen into each cylinder and fuel to compensate.

Well i'm not gonna sell i'm gonna keep it and get it installed once I have enough dough to buy nitrous pressure gauge, rpm window switch, fuel pressure saftey switch, and purge.

Skip the purge (.016sec doesn't matter) and get a nice remote bottle opener. Go to DynotuneNitrous.com they have good deals on most of those parts.

man do you have any idea of how much i would be looking at to get this kit installed at a performance shop? Thanks for the info.

Don't know, figure 2-3 hours of labor depending on the shop
Works great! Trust me the 35 will quite a kick. Plus the bottle will last longer and is fairly safe:) NX systems are great, shouldn't take you more than 4 hours to hook up if you CAREFULLY follow the instructions. It's not rocket science, but it does require attencion.

deffinatly hook this stuff up there are many other guys running kits on the mzr motor. good luck man and spray safe.
