Well, that isn't a true harlequin. They didn't make an mkiv harlequin, only an mk3 golf was made.

vw folks are an odd bunch, but I think the harlequins are kind of cool. as far as registering the car goes, there are standard paint codes for the harlequins. they are registered under their base color. this one is registered as yellow:
