Just ordered our new 5!

Hello all, I've been a member for a while (in fact I was one of the first thousand or so members back in my Protege5 days in 2001, but mostly lurked, and promptly forgot my username). A month or so ago, we traded the Pro5 on an 06 Mazda6 GS wagon. This month, we just put in an order on an 06 Mazda5 GT in Indigo blue to replace my wife's 05 Kia Spectra (please, no stone throwing!).

Our dealer is bringing the car in from Montreal and it should be here by the end of next week! Anyway, looking forward to speaking with everyone.

welcome! The 5 is such an awesome car I'd really like one but I have many other things I need to spend my earnings on before I get a new car.

he made it sounds like he ordered a dealer trade, ie, not from the factory. Otherwise do you think he'd have it in a week?! lol! (ughdance)

Hehe, thanks. Yep, it's an 06. Better interest rate, and we were able to find one in the colour my wife wanted in Montreal. Still waiting for it to get here though--it's a week late at this point.
