i have searched and read all the threads about this but cant seem to make a decision..

which spark plugs would you reccomend for my MSP..
i want to run 9-10 psi and keep it that way... thank you

There is no such thing as a simple answer here. Everyone has a different opinion on plugs. I've always used the stock plugs and had no problem running that much boost and more. Recently switched to a copper NGK stock number 4291 using a smaller 0.031 gap. You can also try a 7 heat range NGK or Denso as others have had good results with those.

I'd go with either the Denso's or ngk zfr7f-11. It seems like those two are the forum favorites.

I'd be careful about upping the boost with only those mods though

Keep boost around 8psi. Once you put in an exhaust I would say you're ok to get into the 9s for psi.

I prefer NGK copper plugs and personally run BKR7E. They are cheap, theoretically burn hotter than the other metals used in plugs, but they only last around 15k miles. But when you can buy a 90k mile supply for around $55 shipped, who cares.

i was going to recommend the BKR7E's as well. Once youre at 9psi maybe the ZFR7F-11s would work, but either one will probably be about the same. The ZFR's are just gonna burn out faster. Ive got an un-used set of BKR7E's if you want them, just pm me and i'll send 'em out to ya.

probably same thing -- NGK brand BKR7E's (stock heat range), unless you're going to up the boost, then maybe the ZFR7F-11's (1 step colder).
