Just my 2 cents, 3 cents American

Recently sold my MP3 as you guys may know. It just wasn't worth making payments on a car I didn't drive that much. Lets face it the MP3 seems to be gettng some bad press latey from all of us. With the addition of the MAZDASPEED Protege Mazda has, in a sense, boned all the MP3 owners. The MP3 just lost the speciality that it had when it first came out. Don't get me wrong I'm not dissing the car still think its a great ride, but for me I need something that will give me more of a thrill when I stomp it.

Don't be pissed guys I'm just thinking aloud. Give me some feed back.

DOGG.

nah, why would we be pissed, we know it dont have much go...but thats why we mod!hehe

Honnestly, I think the mp3 is better car than the msp, as far as after market support is consernd. Look at it this way, I can spend about $3,000, bolt a turbo on and spank any msp, not to mention the fact that I can also get quafe lsd and a atc clutch, I'd rather have a car that I put my time, money, blood, sweat, ect. into than one I just picked up at the dealer ready to make boost. On the other hand the msp IS the "new and improved mp3" and that is a good thing for mazda as well as the "non mechanicly incliend, i want stuff easy, get in and go,go,go," kind of person but rember sequals are never as good as the orignal, the mp3 will always be the fire that lit the spark, and I think I'll still get stoped and asked about it even after the msp is out. I'm not trying to say that you made a bad desision (well maybe from an econimists point of view) and the msp is far from a bad car but I'm stick'n with ma mp3 thank you. Just my .02 cents

I respect the "blood, sweat and tears" aspect of the doing the mods, but I want the mods and the factory warranty. Plus, I'm hoping that since the Mazdaspeed Protege is "pre-modded" I can keep the hi-po bug at bay a little bit longer. My plan also involves autocrossing the car in stock class as an extra incentive to save some money.

Actually your 2 cents are worth only a paltry 1.26 american cents. So take your opinion and keep it unitil you make up the difference. ;)

The way the economy is going I'll never be able to make up the difference. My right to an opinion, I guess was sold with the car. You get your wish J/K, one less opinion isn't going to hurt the forum.

MrMp3 sorry to hear it, sounds like you got the car that was put together on friday afternoon just before quiting and beer drinking time. If you don't mind taking a hit, sell for what you owe and be patient, someone will buy it. I actually had a hell of a time selling mine and the car was mint and had only like 8k miles and I included 4 winter tires and 4 steel rims. I got what I owned plus 1 thousand. I took a loss, but I don't regret it.

GOOD LUCK.................DOGG
