oh, alot of misinformed people refer to the muffler as a "resonator" so they are prolly saying they deleted the muffler as well

and if thats the vid with the black ms3. the muffler is gone and you can see the str8pipe right there in its place

I think I'll just get rid of the two resonators and keep the muffler. Look foward to doing this hopefully this weekend

The MS3 turbocharging plumbing does something to the exhaust that makes it sound awesome no matter what you do, and its immune to sounding rice. Something about inequal length headers?

The regular Mazda 3 can sound like fart can if you go too far.

just like wrx and mustangs ....no matter what they do with there exhaust they sound beastly. I love $h!t can proof cars. Btw, that same vid with the red ms3 was the one that sold me too. I have no regrets....sounds great!

anyone have a video of a Corksport downpipe, race pipe and with 1 of the 2 resonators removed and the muffler removed? I am ordering a corksport downpipe today and I want to know what it will sound like with just the one resonator left on the stock catback. I am sure its going to sound sick.

i believe thats what aaronc7 had before his custom ED exhaust.


it sounded sick, i fell in love with it the first time i heard it.

its deep, thunderous and very powerful sounding. everytime i saw aaron, i would ask him to rev his car just so i could hear his exhaust.

he should have some vids of it. but the vids dont do the exhaust any justice. sounded ten times better in person than in the vids
