hey guys just installed my injen CAI , PG turbo inlet and forge BPV its awesome i have to say the car is amazing but for you that have these i have a few Q: what spring are u running in your BPV ? and is the jiant sucking sound from the intake normal as this is the first one i have ever owned?

thanks guys

Yeah, it sucks big time (but in a good way). With your setup, I'd go Blue+2, or Blue+1. I'm running blue+1 with similar mods - runs great.

Yes, induction noise from your new intake is "loud" in comparison to the stock air box. You'll get used to it.

Unsolicited suggestion: Your next mod should be a good mechanical boost gauge (very inexpensive), or a Dash Hawk (more expensive, but more monitoring functions). When you go with that TBE your boost level will go up about 2 psi and you will need to keep an eye on that for boost creep, spiking and other changes that an open exhaust will bring. Going that route without at least constantly monitoring boost is not a good idea.

Unsolicited suggestion #2: Consider a catless or catted downpipe/rp into the stock CBE. It will save you a LOT of money and performance will be the same. The restrictions are all in the dp/rp and the low flow cats. Aftermarket DP/RP into stock CBE produces the same power as a full TBE. Fact.

The stock CBE section flows better than the stock K04's maximum exhaust output. Only change you will get by changing the CBE part of your exhaust is a different sound, unless you have enough other mods to get your whp up above 300, at which time you will begin to benefit from 3 inch piping all the way back. So if you want to pay hundreds of dollars more to get a different sound, that's your choice and go for it if that's your goal. Just don't expect it to produce more power, or you will be disappointed. Do the DP/RP, enjoy the big bump in power and save the extra money for that Dash Hawk, or something that will make more power like an AP, Standback, or Hypertech tuning solution.
