make sure ur air staightener is in there real good, i know others have glued theirs in place on other sri's cuz they are known to fall out of place and **** s*** up, idk bout this one but might be piece of mind

ok sooo this intake just made my check engine light pop up doo i need to worry lol i was driving on the highway, i was going 75mph and gas it alittle to go 80mph and then let off the gas and bov went off like normal and right after i get a check engine light wtf

disconnect your battery, reconnect it and take it easy, your ECU should relearn your AFR curve with the increased air intake... my first gen did the same thing and that's all i had to do, the new ECU's are smarter than the first gen too so it shouldn't be an issue.

im debating between the two and need to justify the extra cost with this one!

im guessing the gains are similar to the corksport aswell?!

How come no1 gets a injen intake? I think the crome sri is the way to go. I havent got it yet but it seems no1 runs it in their car. Is it the cost?

no one gets it because turbo spool is louder through a sri then a cai and u dont run the risk of sucking up water or anything like that and ruining a motor when a sri and a cai get relatively the same hp gain on a dyno the cai made a whole 1 hp more than a sri so it more expensive and more dangerous to run a cai than a sri for 1 whole hp difference and less turbo spool sound
