Just installed pioneer avic f90bt with kanatechs kit with pictures

Love the setup, but I have a question...I also have the KANATECHS TBXE-T005K piano black from SHOKITS for my install, but the directions are telling me that because I have the bose system that I will need the sound translator. I really dont feel like spending 90 dollars from SHOKITS to get this harness unless I have to.

I have been searching for an answer to this and finally found this thread. Thank god they make a piano blk finish kit.

My question is there another additional module/kit needed to keep the climate control function of the lcd display? Has anyone installed the steering wheel control and how well does it work?

I am kind of timid about doing the install myself because it is my first new car, but the installer I asked about was not very informed about installing anything in a ms3 (kind of expensive too).
