So a while back I said I was looking at getting a new mount and Short Shifter and after much debate I opted for the Medieval Rear Motor Mount. I also wanted better shifiting so I went with the TWM SS stage 1. And then I came accross an ETS 3.25 Top Mount Intercooler that for the price I couldn't pass up.
So far I really haven't had a chance to really get on it but so far so good.
Medieval Rear Mount.
At First I was very hesitant on getting this mount cause I was hung up on the brand. But so far I have not been disappointed, its a huge improvement over stock, this mount just tightend eveything up really nice...also to my surprise the vibes are not bad at all. I would definetly reccomend you get this mount....just be aware that shipping might be a while.
TWM Short Shifter Stage 1
This was actually a really easy install except for trying to remove the bracket... I ended up stripping the screw so I had to drill it out and the bit that comes with the kit. And I didn't have to take apart the whole center console since I was only putting on the shifter and not the mounts or stage 2 shifter. There is a noticable difference but not as much as I thought it would be...To pay over $100 for such a small little bracket and a couple nuts and bolts seems kinda lame for the overall results. I would suggest getting a rear motor mount first and if not satisfied then order the short shifter.
ETS 3.25 TMIC
This is the mod I wasn't planning on doing mainly cause of the price for a new unit...but I came up on a deal and scored. This is the mod I really want to try out on the car. Install was pretty easy and for 20+ponies....in the words of Borat "very nice". I'm going to wait until I change the oil and then take it to the track 1/8 or 1/4 to really get on it.
Next Mod.
My next mod is going the be the spin off oil filter conversion which I am going to do first, before I really start getting on it. Im so sick of that dam cartridge...a BIG FU Mazda for ever putting something like that on car!
