Car runs great and it looks real good under the hood! My question is if I need to change spark plugs? I searched and couldnt find the answer. Will colder plugs gain power/run smoother. Or is it not time yet??

Mods:

cobb tip

ets 3.25 polished

going to install my su test pipe sometime this week too

man i want a ETS TMIC...... how are the power gains/feel regarding the car? how was the install? any issues with holes lining up or duct work fitting?

Install was a breeze even for ppl who arent mechanically inclined, it took about 40 mins or so with beer break. Everything lined up with no problems and I could tell the car was quicker as soon as i took it out for a spin. Car runs good and has better top end and hits boost quicker. I got it used for $300 and bought a SU test pipe for $25! I couldnt pass it up even though I want a FMIC.

Where the heck did you get an SU test pipe for $25!? Lucky!

You would only need plugs if you were like at a stage 2 with the AP. Also if you need something to monitor the fuel pressure if you plan on running the TP. Might as well buy a AP.

OP's car is gen 1. Chances are that his stock fuel pump is fine. Mine is at my mod level, even after 55,000 miles. Gen 2 cars seem to have the fuel pumps taking a dump with minor mods.

It's best to monitor fuel pressure under load in some fashion - Dash Hawk, various scantools, AP, etc. Lots of ways to do it. But it's something that needs to be watched at any mod level above stock. Most of us do fine fully bolted or close to it on stock pump for gen 1 cars, but there are some gen 1 "pump dumps" for reasons we do not really understand.
