just need some opinions with all of you guys, i just finished putting on a new catback exhaust and i test drove it for approx. 3-4 miles and while i was driving i smelled something burning, is that normal?

Yes, there is some stuff to burn off, though I'd check and make sure there isn't any wires or rubber melting on it....

Exactly right. New exhausts always seem to smell for a while. But please do check to make sure the exhaust is fitted correctly and no rubbing or burning on anything. Also, it might have shifted around after you drove it around and heated it up for the first time, so it can't hurt to double check.

Thanks for ur help, i was driving it this morning and it has less smell, but i kinda notice that the muffler tip is touching the bumper, so i think i have to re-align it. so i don't burn the bumper
