Just how hard is it to sell an MP3?

MP3

Sorry to hear that you are selling your mp3. What are you going to do if you cant sell it on ebay. If i was you i would trade it in or put it in a auto locater. I might be interested let me know on what you would be willing to let it go on.

from what I have seen on Ebay.....most people don't bid on stuff till late in the bidding.....and most that really want something will attempt to snatch it at the very lost moment.....I have actually watched people with their bid all filled out and all that had to be done was to hit the enter key...and they sit there watching their watches....and about 10 seconds left....ENTER!

I hope you set a reserve price......but just don't worry about it....let the auction run its course.....and don't back off of the fair price you offered the car for.

Yeah, you'll never see anything close to what you're gonna get until the last day. Just be patient.

Nuke is right, btw...I sold stuff on ebay....and in the last minute, I kept refreshing it the page, and the price kept going up and up. Then, I luckily caught it with ONE second left on the bid. I refreshed ONE more time...BOOM, $20 more than the previous second. Amazing.

Why even bother with eBay? I've never really understood online auto purchasing. Who in their right mind would buy a car they can't even look at?

I suggest putting an ad in the forsales in your local paper, and driving around with a sign that says "For Sale $15,500 OBO". Or something like that.

Do NOT trade it in though. You'll get $1500-$2000 less than if you sell it privately.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy something like that on ebay either. The only market you'll have is someone thats fairly close and willing to pick it up and also someone who is looking for an mp3. If you drive around with it or put in in an auto trader or something, atleast there will be more poeple looking at it than those checking out ebay. I found mine on Autotrader.com. I wasn't really in the market to buy one I just searched vehicles in my area and stumbled upon it. Very glad I did though cause now I have an MP3 :). Why are you wanting to sell it anyways?

Man my reserve price would be at $12,000 not the buy it now price. Should have sold it about a month ago. I would have loved to have had a yellow mp3. Plus I paid $13,900 for mine so you could have saved me some bucks. Oh well. Atleast I'm on of "The Few, The Proud, The MP3" k that was gay.
