haha, they have it there.

well Iguess it wouldn't matter because I don't have a controller to adjust my fuel yet anyhow. =P

does carboy have in house equipment to read how lean and rich your car is running? Or is that something you'd have to bring along? ;)

When we talk about a wideband, that is what measures A/F ratio's. It is a tuning tool. Unfortunately for "most" Protege, P5, MSP owners this tool would be strictly for monitoring as there is nothing that can be tuned on this car, just parts to be replaced and added.

Most dyno shops will have a Wideband machine/ Computer with various size O2 sensors and diiferent types of Inductive pick-ups.

All depending on what type of car you drive and OBD version.

Up here in Canada, the shops charge extra to hook you up to the wideband.

15 psi is Sooooo much fun!

Next time try slipping the clutch out of the hole. No wheel spin, maintains RPM's and boost.

I'd rather replace a clutch disk than drive shafts and other s*** that rattles off the car from the "OMG i'm gonna hurl" wheel hop!

i dont know man, both times i tried hard to keep myself from gunnin it, but its hard not to, lol
when i left the track i gave it a go on the road and honestly the road was alot stickier then the track was, wtf?
i dont know but ill be back and this time 8psi launch and 15 halfway thru 2nd. with better tires too.

Yea ive had bad experiences with dynos and widebands, lol my last dyno i went to the wideband was showing 14-15.xx a/f ratio(engine blown on an rx7), instead of showing 10-12 like it should. Better off buying your own off someone on a forum. Techedge are good, aem uego is good, there are a few others but techedge is prolly the best buy, and it works great, i have 2 friends with em, in fact im buying one as soon as the $ gets here.

(werd), I have a TechEdge 1.5 in my car right now as I type. It works great! This is the same wideband that FM uses.

umm nope i have no method of puttin the slip up but ill try and get my buddies vid., there were a couple of srt's guys there from the srtforums there that saw.

get some drag radials man I ran a 14.9 at stock boost 2.2 60 ft time Traction sucks at stock boost to I launch at 1500 rpms That is the best for me anything else sucks . Im looking to get some drag radials Then maybe i can get a 14.7 I think it is possible and i will post vid

Yea ive been looking to find some rims There a guy that has a speed around here H e ran a 14.3 on stock tires at 9 psi He said he runs a flat 14 will drag radials Next time try launching at around 1500 rpms All my buds kept telling me to launch at 3000 But all my good times were at 1500 EvERY OTHER TIME IT WAS 15.1 TO 15.7 So 1500 rpms it is I cant wait to up the boost some but i think im getting the drags first Thanks for testing the 15 psi Also what mix do you run with the car 116 104 leaded or unlead

it always varys...sometimes a mix of 104 and 93, sometimes 117.
whatever is easier at the time. but i wouldnt run 15psi with just a cai....just some advice though im sure you know..

enjoy the dyno man. your trap will get you well into the 13s as long as you can master hi/low boost and get some f-n traction. lol

BTW- Ben @ Autologic is a great mechanic, whereas Jason is the tuning man. AL doesn't have a dyno in house, I believe they go to TChargers' for dyno time. Goodluck at Carboy, but I'd suggest Turbochargers... all a matter of preference. :)

Discreet, if you had radials or slicks you wouldnt have to worry about hi/lo boost settings, 1 less thing to think of while you are running makes you a faster driver. Plus its fun coming out of the hole at 4-5 grand and hooking up:)

i think i would probably snap an axle eh? any thoughts on that?
i think you may be misleading me you sneaky bastard.

get some built axles then, im just sayin, if you want really good times I think the axles can handle a few launches on radials.
