Hey WES....how come you don't post more on the TOProtege.com board?

It is kind of sad to see. It is not like wesman has anything to gain or lose trying to convince a bunch of people OVER THE INTERNET that his car ran low 14's. It is not like he is claiming 13.3@119 or anything :D ... He is not trying to sell anything, he is not trying to beat anyone else, he is not racing for $$$, etc.. It is a measily 14.2 run that he is happy with and wanted to share with others.. No offense guys, but there are far greater claims to make up than a 14 second car  .. Not saying it is slow or unimpressive- but I'm sure wesman has much better things to do with his time than make false claims about a 14 second car. Jeesh people... This is all part of the reason I sold my MSP- too much baby s*** :(..

Excellent times!!! Maybe drop your tire psi to get some better 60's. Try 15-20 PSI. Or if you're serious, try getting some drag radials. I had some nitto 555r's on the probe... they were heavy bitches, and probably hurt my trap speeds, but they definitely helped my 60's and my overall ET's. Took my 60's from 2.35 to 2.15's and got me in the 13's.

And to all the doubters out there... don't hate on this guy just because he may be a better driver than you. :o

I just installed my autometer boost gauge today, I was running 12 psi spikes, steady at 9 psi once pulling hard. Its drawing 18psi of vacuum at idle. Its possible I was up to 13 at the drag strip on a cold motor. I hit the fuel cut for the first time friday night, got in and punched it with a cold motor, and hit it in second gear at 3000rpm.

Does anybody know how to wire the lights for the gauges into the dimmer switch so that I can control the amount of light with the rest of the stock gauges. I have it wired into the middle wire, C on the protege manual diagram. Right now its varies inversely with the dash lights. Its bright on the pillar when its dark on the dash. Opps. Do I have to buy a new dimmer switch and wire all my new gauges to that.

The dmmer switch on the Pro's uses a reverse ground set-up for dimming.I tried to locate a way to make my gauges dim as well but with no luck?I am very good at wiring too!
BTW,your track numbers are right in line with mine.14.3@98 on sat. afternoon.
Back to the gauges,I thought about tying into the ground for my gauges,as this is where I beleive that our gauges dim.Instead of tying into the positive you could tie into the ground off the dimmer switch.I'm not sure if this would work but it is something that I was thinking of trying when I got around to it.
Just my .02 cents
Matt:)
