Just got an 08' GT with 23k - love it but questions

5 days after we bought it we went on a little road trip - 500 miles (with just 1 fob)

We got to our first stop - out in the boonies, but at a friends house. We all got out of the car but my wife left her purse in the car with the fob inside. About 2 minutes later we all heard the doors lock on their own. We all knew what had just happened. I had to pay aand call a locksmith to come out and break into the car. Luckily we were in the sticks so it was fairly cheap 35$. I also hear the locks doing things unlocking while driving, sounds after we get out of the car, almost seems random. So what is the deal with this? Anyone know.

Other questions:

I want to keep a regular small key tucked away in my wallet. What would be the best way to approach this? I saw several different fobs on ebay, etc but all I want is an emergency key (minus the fob) in case something like this happens again and I can manually unlock the doors. Is it lasercut/chipped?

After getting out of the car 2 front windows and sunroof opened on their own on several occasions. I know there is a feature but my wife swears she wasn't touching unlock on the fob.

I'm really loving everything else but the electronics seem pretty finicky...
I missed how reliable my locking/unlocking was on my 05 Mazda3.

I'd say that your SmartKey (card) or the ECU that controls the SmartKey has issues.
Do you have two SmartKeys (cards)?
If so, try another one. If the problem persists, then, we know the problem is likely in the ECU/sensors.
** hope you have warranty
