HAHAHAAHAHAH I am so geeked right now. Just got off work and what was sitting at my front door step when I arrived. My new HKS Carbon TI Muffler. WOW this thing looks sooooooooo sweet. I got an appoinment tomorrow at a local muffler shop to measure piping for my new full turbo back exhaust. I AM SOO EXCITED. Just had to share my joy with somebody. I will keep you guys updated on the final product and I cant wait to here how she sounds.

Nice choice! I love the looks of that exhaust I should be getting mine soon as well

No cats and 3" piping all the way back. The reason I chose 3" is because I plan on doing major modding down the road and figured that Id be better of with a 3" pipe down the road. Wow I seriously am not gonna be able to sleep tonight. mspeed101 this muffler is seriously sick!!! Oh yeah and what are you planning on doing? custom turbo back or cat back???

I was gonna get the 3 inch billet design turboback with HKS carbon ti. seems like a good deal at $850. good luck with your exhaust

I was gonna do the same thing but actually its not that great of a deal plus the guy at billetdesign told me it would probably take about a month before I would actually get my exhaust. I got my hks carbon TI for like $300 brand new and I am having a local muffler shop custom do my pipes for estimated price of $2-300. So total is gonna probably be around $600. which is a decent amount cheaper plus dont have to pay $100 for shipping. If you are seriously interested I would find a reputable local muffler shop and see what they can do for you. in the end you will save yourself a few bucks for some other mods. Oh yeah also billet design is no longer using the HKS they are using its clone the megan racing carbon titanium which retails for $170 and the price is still around $850. sounds kinda shady to me.

Are you using mandrel bends?? Stainless or aluminized piping??Will you system replace the "s" pipe?

HAHA thanks insidiousMSP. You are the first I think to get this exhaust and that side shot of the exhaust in your signiture is what turned me on to this exhaust. It just looks so damn sweet.

also not sure bout madrel bends yet I will be goin tomorrow and will let you know then. Also I am getting SS piping and I am goin from the S pipe back. Well actually when i go in tomorrow I will ask how much more it would be to replace the S pipe also. I mean if its only $50-100 more I think its worth it so yeah Ill have more info tomorrow.

lol if they could do the s pipe for 50-100 do it..You are going to want to get mandrel bends, they are less restrictive and don't chike down at the bends..I would expect to pay at least 200 dollars for all the mandrel bends and SS piping alone though without labor..

Yea definetly get mandrel bends. Thanks for giving me that info about billet. I would of been pissed to get that megan muffler lol!

alright cool thanks for the info guys. Ill see what kinda price its gonna be now for the full setup with ss piping and madrel bends.

The megan canister is actually nice quality (real carbon fiber & titanium), and sounds just as good... not to mention, half the price. :) However, you can choose whatever brand muffler you want if you were to get a Billet Design exhaust, just might cost more.

Its very very true, that side shot of the exhaust is damn sexy, the one question I have is what is the ss/chrome clamp around the center of the exhaust? You can kinda see a little bit of it in the pic, is it to hold the exhaust up?

Yeah, usually they weld rods to the canister for the exhaust hangers... but since it's wrapped in carbon fiber, it comes with the clamp and you weld a rod to that. :)

I really like the clamp a lot better then the rods. When I got a custom exhaust done by a local speed shop they welded the rods to my brand new shiny (sp) ss exhaust and ruined the finish and look of it.
