Just got a double din. Got a problem.

Hey guys. havent post in a while since school started.
Anyway, I got a DD deck couple days ago and I just installed it today. I used the bracket that came with the stock stereo. The fit wasn't great. One pull and the deck is gone in theft hands. haha.
And there are gaps on all four sides since its smaller than the stock one. I seen people custom make bracket so it fills in the gap on the sides.

So two questions :
What bracket to use to hold the deck in place ?
How to make a kit so I can fill in the gaps ?

have you tried going to somewhere like Crutchfields and getting an install kit for a DD unit? or any other audio supply place for that matter? that is where I would start....if the kit is set up for your particular HU they usually come with the piece you are refering to, to fill in the extra space around the unit.

Hey Sir Nuke...night shift eh ?? haha.
Anyway, the deck I bought didn't come with any kit what so ever. Crutchfield is down right now. Cant check anything.
My deck is looking ugly in my car coz there are gaps and it comes out too much......

there arent any brackets that you can remove unless your talking about the cage around the stock radio, i guess you could do that, lol removing the radio is a b**** i will tell you, gotta drop the glove box unhook the hvac controls and all kinds of bulls*** just to get to it.
