Just bought my MSP today

Hello all! I just bought my 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege today. A guy that lives in the city next to me was selling his so I bought it for 14000. It already has a JoeP MBC, intake, gauges and he gave me a whole bunch of extra parts like a FMIC and some hard pipes. He told me to come on this board so here I am! This is my 3rd car, I also have a 1992 MR2 Turbo and a 1993 Nissan 300zx TT. Glad to be part of the MSP community.

I think his name was Kinetic or something like that. He bought an RX-8 and already had 2 RX-7's so he got rid of the MSP.

It sounds like it's Kenetix car. If you look at his profile and sig he lives in Iowa and owns 2 RX-7's. Case closed! Congrats! Sounds like you got a good deal.

Yup, thats him. The car only has 6500 miles on it, and he left me a whole case of Mobil 1 syn in the trunk. He also took me for a ride in his new RX-8, its silver with a 6 speed. His black third gen RX-7 was the sweetest though, he was getting ready to put some A-Spec body kit or something on it, he had it out in the garage. He was a really nice guy.

Something sounds fishy here.

First, Kenetix has a BUNCH of issues with members of this board regarding his run times/mods.

He then posts recently and doesn't even mention selling his car.

THEN a "new member" shows up and all of the sudden Kenetix has sold his car.

And the new guy plays off the "do you know who 'kinetic' is" thing.

WEIRD s***.

Edit: Oh, and don't you think that someone who's active on a Mazda forum would BRAG TO HELL about getting a RX-8?

Word. I'll be monitoring both username's activity to see who this person really is. Maybe I'll slip enry some cash to watch the httpd logs when these two users are on.

It's amazing. Now Kenetix is never on but this new "Flat Black" guy is. I'd love to see him pull off logging in under two user names so we could catch his ass.
