just bought my MP3 last night...

...and i couldnt be happier. the thing that suprised me (and my friends) is how it comes with such a great sound system AND a sub. now it's time to start saving for that turbo...

P.S Roger Beasley South Mazda in Austin has a yellow MP3 still for sale. i would've gotten that color but i loved the way the blue looked.

my sales guy was Adel Sala...he was a really nice guy too. i traded in a 2002 eclipse GS (long story) for it and i couldnt be happier with my decision.

i've only seen one other MP3 in the austin area on I35 about a month ago. it feels good to know i wont see a million of these on the road.

so what's the long story with the trade in eclipse?

long story made short.....

- i needed a new car.
- my girlfriend loves the new eclipses and somehow convinces me to get one...with an AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. *cries*
- i hate the eclipse.
- 2 months later her parents decide to get her a brand new explorer for an early graduation present.
- i decide to get rid of the eclipse at any cost.
- on the way home from work one day i see an MP3 on the dealership lot.
- i somehow convice them to buy my 2 month old eclipse from me and i only have to put $2000 down to make the deal happen.

even though the $2000 set me back a good amount i dont regret one thing. the car handles like a dream.

my sales person was david macintire and thats tight that might have been me on the hwy but there is another guy where i live that has an mp3 also man and thats about it for the yellow saw him on congress last week and was an old man about 50 pr so

I agree, those eclipses suck. I sat in one at the autoshow and it was terrible. The top of the windshield was at my eye level. Not the top of the glass, the top of the windshield frame, which means I would have to duck to drive that car. Maybe it was something with the way I had the seat but I hated it. My friend was looking for a car and she liked those until she sat in it. She said "it wasn't comfy" Whatever I said. The point is, those cars aren't for me.
